Testimonial

The beginning is awesome with the military drums. I loved how the composer sang it, especially the tone of the entire piece. I love how he sang ‘they were known as a band of brothers’ because you’ll always be connected to guys forever that you served with. When Taps played, it struck a cord with me and I know it will you every person that served

Thanks to you and YourSongMaker because this song couldn’t of been any better than I imaged. You understand the meaning not only for myself, but for those who served are serving, and the ones who never came home. For me, I hope people will look at the Flag differently and truly understand it’s meaning and why it flies in the wind. I can’t thank you enough because it’s an awesome song that will resonate.

Story Behind the Song

Expressed by the title, this song is a heartfelt dedication to all of those that served our country. The profound lines, “The flag waves strong, proud, and free, because of those that died for you and me,” showcases the sincere gratitude for every soldier that selflessly risked his/her life so that we can freely and safely live ours. We live in a country that is filled with promise for tomorrow because of the heroes that protect us today. As the flag waves proudly in the air, those on the ground greatly appreciate the courage, sacrifice, and commitment each soldier possesses for our country.
