Story Behind the Song
To quote a famous line in When Harry Met Sally, “When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.” This sentiment resonates throughout the entire song, A Love Song. The lyricist’s intention was to create a deeply personal and wholly unique love song for his girlfriend, who soon became his fiancé, and finally his wife.
