Story Behind the Song
Evan was in his 80's when he decided to write a song about Christmas. Prior to that, he had never written a song. He found us in the Philadelphia Inquirer and wanted to try it. He titled his song What Time Is It? Evan talks about the fact that there are many Christmas songs out there, however, he didn't find any of them to say what he wanted to say or how he wanted to say it. Evan loved his song. He loved it so much that he requested his retirement community sing it at their annual Christmas celebration.
